The article discusses the possibility and prospects of teaching children, age group 6 - 14 years, information modeling technologies as part of obtaining basic engineering competencies and training a new adaptive generation of specialists in the field of information modeling in construction. This research work also reflects the main advantages and relevance of information modeling technologies, and analyzes the demand for specialists in this field. The scientific research was carried out with the aim of obtaining practical methods to solve a number of problems that the Russian construction sector will face in the near future in the process of digitalization and the introduction of information modeling technology. The authors propose to familiarize yourself with the developed and practice-tested personnel training methodology, which allows you to improve the educational process of training qualified information modeling specialists.
