The author establishes the connection between positive and negative emotional states of children of different age, gender and different types of nervous system towads the leading activities. The article studies the dynamics of emotional attitude towards the main types of activities of the first and second grade students, including boys and girls, as well as children with different types of nervous system. Obtained results are interpreted in the context of the adaptation problem of elementary school students to the new stage of development.
