The thermodynamics of the interaction of various triazole-containing polymers with different liquids was studied. For all the studied systems, the dissolution and swelling of poly(vinyltriazoles) are characterized by negative values of the Gibbs energy, enthalpy, and entropy of mixing due to the amphoteric character of a triazole moiety. It was shown that the solubility of poly(vinyltriazoles) and the thermodynamic parameters of the polymer-solvent interaction depend on the mutual arrangement of nitrogen atoms in the triazole substituent.
