The article is devoted to the analysis of the use of online - technologies in working with youth in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. The authors presented the results of the analysis of interactive documents of bodies and institutions of the youth policy sphere, operating in the municipalities of the Sverdlovsk region and implementing an information policy in the social network "Vkontakte" regarding young people about their activities; activities of the Youth House (Yekaterinburg, Russia) and its interactive events using online technologies during the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as a survey of participants in the “HR recommends!” webinar. The purpose of the article is to develop recommendations to bodies and institutions of the youth policy sphere operating in municipalities of the Sverdlovsk region on the use of online technologies in working with youth in a pandemic. The results of the study showed that the self-isolation regime introduced due to the pandemic bridges the gap between the understanding that the era of digitalization has come and the direct adoption of the digital environment, immersion in it. The ability to work in an online format will soon become a necessity for constant contact with consumers of services provided by organizations in the youth sphere and education, which have different online experience, which reduces the possibility of their influence on solving youth problems of society.
