Profile Information

The Institute of Physical Culture, Sports and Youth Policy of Ural Federal University was established in 2004, inheriting the 80-year history of the Department of Physical Culture. Nowadays the Institute is a powerful and fast developing educational unit of UrFU. The Institute is famous for sports achievements and traditions. The Institute of Physical Culture, Sports and Youth Policy has the best university sports base in the region, which allows our students to train in more than 30 sports: basketball, football, rugby, aerobics, cheerleading, skiing, tennis, track-and-fields athletics, etc. Our graduates find employment in management, state and municipal authorities, physical culture, sports, youth policy, social and culture service, PR departments of state and commercial structures, media, political and public organizations, international youth cooperation centers.
