The article touches upon the topic of digitalization at the level of regulatory technical documentation of the construction industry. Based on the analysis of Russian legislation, as well as international experience, the principles of translating regulatory requirements into a machine-readable format are considered. The author suggests considering the problem of document-oriented entities and linking them with an object-oriented approach using modern software solutions for analyzing information models of capital construction projects. The article analyzes the approaches with the spread of the popularity of XML files, and also offers a vision for the further operation of information systems at the state level.
