The far North is a part of the territory of Russia, located mainly to the North of The Arctic circle. The territory of the Far North is the Arctic zone, tundra, forest tundra, and areas of the Northern taiga. In this area, the delivery of goods is carried out mainly by helicopter. But taking into account the expensive aviation fuel - delivery of goods is not always effective. Therefore, a certain number of goods can be delivered without using helicopter transportation, which can be quite expensive, and using ATVs, snowmobiles, and snowmobiles. Based on the above, the use of haylage in the Far North will be a scientific and applied problem. This article provides a brief overview of the structure of the real-1 snowmobile, as well as a study of the advantages of installing a diesel internal combustion engine on a given vehicle as a power unit prepared for use in the far North, as well as a detailed analysis of the parameters of the external speed characteristics which are represented by graphs of power dependencies (Ne), torque (Me), specific(ge) and hourly (Gt) fuel consumption on the speed of the crankshaft(n)
