The article presents the texts of the speeches of the participants of the round table 'Transformation of social and civic activity of young people in the period of COVID-19', held on May 15, 2021 in an online format with the support of the Youth Institute (Moscow). The participants of the scientific event were scientists, university teachers and beginning researchers from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Yaroslavl, Omsk, Vladimir, and Chelyabinsk. The research on the topic 'Social, civil and political activity of young people in the period of COVID-19' was conducted under the leadership of S.Y. Popova, Candidate of Psychological Sciences, Associate Professor in the framework of the Laboratory of Youth Interdisciplinary Studies, which was set up at the Forum of Young Political Scientists 'Digoria' in 2020 (head A.V. Selezneva, Doctor of Political Sciences, Associate Professor). They discussed the features and reasons for the transformation of social, civic, and political activity of young people during the COVID-19 period, the real and virtual forms of social and civic behavior of the younger generation, and the motivation to participate in socially significant activities in the context of a new historical challenge.
