This paper presents the results of the research of the phenomenon of tolerance for uncertainty. In the article we verify the assumption of a complex content of the phenomenon, presented by moderative-mediated interactions of the features of cognitive processes and personality traits. Through research effects of involuntary intellectual control, functional values of which are considered as a basis to overcome the differentiation of various forms of uncertainty have been found.
