The article discusses the main features of the speech portrait of the mayor of Yakutsk, Sardana Avksentieva, on the material of the politician’s personal blog on the social network Instagram from the moment she took office (September 2018) to date. The study is carried out within the framework of linguistic political personology. The article dwells on the language and speech characteristics of S. Avksentieva’s communicative behavior on the network and the axiological remarks broadcast in her personal blog. It also analyzes the reasons for the wide popularity of the regional politician in the Russian social space. It is noted that the stylistic coloring of speech, as well as the use of modern tools (including marketing ones) of personal blog organization helps to attract readers' attention and increase attractiveness of the content. In addition, the emphasized commitment to traditional values, such as gratitude, family and children, native language, and historical memory, actualizing the social, national and regional identity of the mayor of Yakutsk, and a confident open demonstration of professional qualities and achievements are the key to the success and popularity of the politician. Usage of the social network resources, the enhanced role of which is also manifested in the political field, helps to increase confidence in the politician, provides feedback with the public, and allows solving professional problems effectively. Thanks to the skillful communicative organization of her personal account on the social network, S. Aksentieva formed her own positive political image, both on the regional level and on a national scale. In the Russian media space, the mayor of Yakutsk is called by the precedent names “Healthy Man’s Mayor” and “Your Mom's Friend's Daughter”, emphasizing the extremely positive, completely atypical image of a political leader for the modern Russian reality.
