The issues of forming a culture of youth tolerance with the use of communicative training technologies are quite relevant for the university community, which is increasingly filled with foreign students. So, at present, more than 17 thousand students study at the Russian State Vocational Pedagogical University (RSVPU), of which 2.6 thousand people are foreign students from 63 countries of the world, and over the past five years the number of foreign students at the university has increased almost ten times. The purpose of the article is to present the scientific results on the development and testing of a communicative training technology for the formation of a culture of tolerance among students of RSPPU. The study is based on normative-value, systemic and structural-functional methodological approaches and methods such as questioning, testing and observation. In the implementation of the author's communicative training technology, 39 students of RGPPU, studying in the direction of "Physical culture and recreation activities", took part. During the implementation of the communicative training technology, the verbal and non-verbal behavior and interaction of the participants were monitored. In 2021, 75 students on tolerance issues were interviewed at the RSPUU using an individual questionnaire, based on the analysis of the results of which the authors developed, tested and implemented a communicative training technology aimed at developing a culture of tolerance among students. Before and after the end of the training sessions, the level of tolerance was measured using the express questionnaire "Index of Tolerance". Communicative training, with certain content and organizational changes, can be implemented for any age category of young people, may contain forms that allow the development of new projects that can be implemented in the youth environment.
