The article presents the results of an aerobatic study of imaginative ideas about the life path of students with different levels of self-esteem. The diagnostics was carried out with the use of testing methods and fairy tale therapy. A compilation procedure of fairy tale therapy diagnostics in two contrast groups was developed and used. The frequency of occurrence of registered qualitative characteristics of fi gurative representations of students with high and low levels of self-esteem is compared, statistically signifi cant differences are revealed.
