The article presents the discourse of mobility in mono-cities based on the analysis of news reports of federal, regional and municipal media, as well as social media materials. The key attention in the analysis is given to the subject and content of messages: who (what) is the subject of mobility, what types (forms) of mobility are mentioned, what is the general information message of the message (promotion (intensification) or restrictions (barriers) of mobility). The authors of the article come to the conclusion that there is a mismatch in mobility discourses that are broadcast at different levels, and show what contradictions exist in the ideas about mobility in mono-cities.
