The aim of the study is to analyze the use of a library of TIM-components of typical blocks in the design of residential buildings, using the possibilities of information modeling technologies (TIM). The research hypothesis is as follows: the use of a library of TIM-components will reduce the time resource for designing typical residential buildings. Research methods were used: analysis, synthesis and modeling. As a result, an initial set of library components was obtained and the practical effectiveness of its application in design was determined.
