This article gives the author's interpretation of the role of industrial parks as a form of state support for medium-sized businesses, presents the results of an analysis of existing forms of entrepreneurship in the Russian Federation, assesses the measures of cluster support for entrepreneurial activity by the state, generalizes and systematizes legally fixed forms of business and criteria for their selection. The results of the analysis of the formation and development of industrial parks, as well as ways to support them by the state are given. The effect of the created industrial parks on the regional economy is analyzed.
