The article is devoted to the analysis of young people's vision of their future in the aspect of subjective well-being. The article contains the results of a theoretical analysis of the scientific literature on the subjective well-being and questionnaires of 500 young people living in the Sverdlovsk region on issues related to satisfaction with the parameters of their lives, expectations and plans for the future, perceptions of the safety of their lives. The aim of the study is to develop proposals for improving the well-being of youth on the basis of an analysis of youth’s vision of their future in the aspect of subjective well-being. The results of the study showed that in the Urals there is a steady tendency towards a decrease in the number of young people, an increase in the number of marriages, and migration growth. Young people as a large socio-demographic group require close attention of scientists and practitioners, since the processes taking place in it affect the sustainability of society and the security of the region and country. Youth perception of their place in society, their future through the prism of subjective well-being largely determines its behavior in the educational institution and in the organization.
