The article deals with the actual problems of the expertise of the aesthetic component of the design objects of the virtual information environment - interactive systems, the basis of which is the degree of user satisfaction. The advantages and disadvantages of various methods employed in the evaluation of interactive system esthetics are described, including expert-based evaluation, participatory evaluation, and automatic evaluation. The authors conclude that the expert method remains the main method of assessing the aesthetic. Being a discussion paper, it analyzes the possibility of developing digital evaluation programs in the esthetic domain.
