The implementation of the national project «Demography» is aimed at ensuring the social well-being of society and the national security of the city, the region and the whole country as a whole. The purpose of the study: to study the opinions of young people on the formation of family values. The authors studied the motivation of young people to marry and start a family, reproductive attitudes of young people, problems and expectations of young people in creating and strengthening a family, awareness and participation of young people in the forms of work with young families in the Sverdlovsk region, destructive family attitudes, their types, causes, prevention. Based on the results of the study, recommendations and proposals were formulated to the structures dealing with the implementation of youth policy at the regional level.
