N2 - The regularities of spreading and wetting by the Al, Zn, Cu, Pb pure metals, Al-Si, Al-Cu, Al-Mg, Al-Zn melts and industrial foundry alloys the supports from pressed pore-forming materials (0.01 mm fraction) were studied. The results of experiments are presented on the investigation of support material, temperature and alloying elements effect on the kinetics of spreading and edge angle of wetting. Considerable variation of surface tension values for single type foundry aluminum alloys is explained by the scatter of nonregulated impurity content.
