The renovation of the welding equipment in Russia does not exceed 40 thousands units/year with allowance for this import. It is pointed out that the maximum issue of the welding equipment in the USSR was equal to 400 thousands units/year. The required equipment at the present time include the installations for welding under flux and for air-plasma cutting, the universal machines of point, relief, seam and joint welding.
