The pandemic has become a catalyst for the inevitable process of digitalization of communications, significantly changing the organization and technologies for implementing the professional activities of millions of employees around the world. The increase in unemployment and the transition of professional groups to a remote work format, due to the external need for isolation to minimize the spread of Covid-19 in 2020, lead to a radical change in the trends in the development of the labor market. In the context of the pandemic, the growth of unemployment and the transition of many professional groups to n the remote format of work and learning, the relevance of the research question has sharply increased: what forms of informal employment university graduates are involved in, how successful are the professional trajectories of precariums at the start of their career. Along with formal employment, various forms of unstable employment appear, which is due to the uncertainty of the conditions for the development of the labor market, as well as an increase in the unemployment rate among a part of the working-age population, including among young professionals. To describe the dynamics of the labor market development, a model for assessing the risks of young specialists from key sectors of the economy entering the precariat in a pandemic is constructed. To calculate the risks of young specialists entering the precariat in a changing socio-economic system, an indicative approach was used to consider the shares of individuals' resistance to external influences, as well as threats to the development of the socioeconomic system. To express particular risk indicators, a system of power functions is used to describe changes in the stability of individuals and the socio-economic system to external threats. © 2023 American Institute of Physics Inc..
