In molten mixtures LiCl-naCl-UCl4 interaction between components is determined by the presence of four-valent uranium, having the most polarizing and complexing ability in complexing ability in comparison with the rest cations of the salt mixture. Formation of complex anions of four-valent uranium is consequence of this fact. In their turn these anions determine the surface and volumetric properties of the melts.
