FIELD: hydraulic turbines. SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to generate energy from freely falling water flows. The hydraulic turbine comprises a water supply 1, a base 2, a guide vane, a drive 9 and an impeller 3, the blades 12-19 of which are mounted on disks. The guide apparatus is made of an external support 4 with a curved surface, encircling the impeller 3 from the side of the water supply 1, the lower end of which is equipped with a hinge 5 located on the base 2. The middle part of the support 4 through hinges 6, 7 and rod 8 is connected to the drive 9, also located on the base 2. The blades 12-19 of the impeller 3 are made with a bucket-shaped profile.
