N2 - New PtII complexes of aryl- and diaryl-2,2′-bipyridines were prepared using the Kröhnke method for the further synthesis of pyridine derivatives. Signal assignment in the 1H and 13C NMR spectra was performed for the 1D and 2D NMR spectral data. The primary screening evaluation of the antitumor activity of the synthesized compounds on cultured human cells in vitro showed high biological significance of selected samples. The cell death under the action of the studied compounds proceeds via apoptosis type as shown by fluorescent dyeing and polymerase chain reaction in the real time.
