Synthesis of niobium-containing solid solutions based on bismuth tungstate from binary oxides is studied. The succession of phase transformations and the boundaries of existence of the Bi2-0.33xNbxW1-xO6-x solid solutions are determined. The electroconductivity, as dependent on the composition of solid solutions, temperature, and the partial pressure of oxygen, is considered. The conductivity mechanism is discussed.
