A comprehensive calculated and experimental investigation of the stresses occurring in the tube sheet of a shell-and-tube heat-transfer apparatus under the effect of tube rolling forces was carried out, the results of which were used to estimate the stressed and strain state of a tube bundle caused by technological loads, and it is shown that these loads need to be taken into account for carrying out a refined strength calculation. © 2008 MAIK Nauka.
