The equation is derived which describes longitudinal electrostatic excitations in semiconductors and semimetals with account of quadratic nonlinearities and quantum nature of particle motion. It is shown that in the systems considered there is a possibility for propagation of new type solitary waves with complete dependence on quantum character of electron motion.
