N2 - This work is dedicated to the questions of measurement the complex relative permittivity of materials under external influencing factors. Was considered the question of a temperature dependence of complex relative permittivity and the main problems, which can be effect on a measurement results, were identified. One of the most important problems during measurement of the temperature dependence of complex relative permittivity is expansion of the sample under the influence of temperature. The temperature expansion of material under test can be calculated for each point of temperature, but the problem is determining the location of the material under test in the sample holder. For minimization of measurement error and location of the material determination in a sample holder after heating in the article was present the mathematical algorithm for automatic calculation the test material location in a sample holder. The paper presents both the mathematical expressions necessary for calculation and the results of applying the proposed approach to real measurements. © 2023 IEEE.
