N2 - Real-time systems are used by the electric drives developers to develop circuit solutions, commissioning and test converters. Such systems are called Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) and Power Hardware-in-the-Loop (PHiL) simulators. During the PHiL development process it is necessary to choose the power part parameters like simulator reactors active resistance (R) and inductance (L). The paper discusses issues related to the choice of AC electric drive PHiL-simulator reactors parameters. Simulator current RMS values estimating for a number of operating points of the selected asynchronous motor mechanical characteristic is given.
