N2 - In the context of global changes, the phenomenon of effective intercultural interaction acquires special significance and direction as the main condition for avoiding conflicts and confrontation, parity cooperation based on tolerance. At the same time, the authors acknowledge the lack of research in modern pedagogical science devoted to identifying effective and adequate pedagogical conditions for preparing future specialists for intercultural interaction and suggest the use of authentic teaching materials and the development of academic mobility at the university as conditions for effective preparation of students for intercultural interaction. The context of the subject-language integrated environment in modern conditions ensures the widespread use of authentic materials and determines the variant ways of their effective interdisciplinary application, which contributes to the formation of a holistic picture of the world and the intensification of interculturally oriented activities, also having a systemic positive impact on readiness for intercultural interaction. In turn, the development of academic mobility in the university contributes to the acquisition of intercultural knowledge and skills; increasing the value of fluency in foreign languages; strengthening personal and professional international contacts, stimulating students' interest in studying the characteristics of another country, its culture, traditions, etc.
