Manufacturing technology of porous castings from nonferrous alloys (Al, Zn, Pb) is suggested by impregnating a pore-forming frame with the pressurized melt. The technology enables to produce the articles with the open porosity: through by volume; differentiated by section, with the combination of porous and monolithic layers. The casted porous articles may operate under elevated temperatures and chemically active media conditions, may take the complicated shape and great sizes.
