Analysis of the initial data from the regular measuring systems for gas-turbine equipment permits the development of an automated system for assessing the condition of the equipment in the course of operation. Potentially, this automated system will reduce the need for thermal tests and will permit maintenance on the basis of the equipment’s actual technical condition. A mathematical algorithm is developed to generate a coefficient characterizing the condition of the gas turbine system on the basis of measurement data regarding its steady operation. Software produced using the Python 3 language permits investigation of actual operational data and the development of recommendations for engineering practice. © 2023, Allerton Press, Inc.
