Synthesis of novel styrylquinazolinones has been performed by means of transformation of hetero-ring of 2-methyl-3,1-benzoxazin-4-ones under the action of (naphtalin-1-yl)- and (9Н-fluoren-2-yl)-methylenephe-nylamines upon heating under reflux in glacial acetic acid in the presence of sodium acetate. Adsorption and fluorescence spectra of compounds obtained have been studied.
