The key objective of the article is to substantiate the position on the integrative nature of Case-study method in teaching a professionally oriented foreign language at University. The integrative nature means the possibility of including the elements of other interactive pedagogical methods in Case-study method, including Content and language integrated learning (CLIL), Role play method, Task-based method, and Case-study method. The article provides a brief description and main features of each of these methods. The professional skills formed in the process of teaching a professionally oriented language based on these methods are described. The conclusion about the possibility of implementation of all considered interactive methods elements in the practice of Case-study method applying in teaching professionally oriented foreign language is made. The conclusion confirms the position on the integrative nature of Case-study method.
