This work is devoted to the study of the structural and electrical transport properties of yttrium-doped barium zirconate, which is a promising proton-conducting electrolyte. By the method of pyrolysis of polymer-salt compositions powder samples of BaZr1-xYxO3-δ (x = 0.1; 0.2; 0.5) were synthesized. The crystal lattice parameters in the temperature range from 25 to 1100 ℃ was determined. The activation energies of partial conductivities were calculated at different temperature values (from 790 to 1040 ℃) in a wide range of partial pressure of water vapor (log (pH2O / atm.) = from -4; to -1.7) and oxygen content (log (pO2 / atm.) = from -20; to -0.68) in the atmosphere above the sample.
