The synthesis of new derivatives of 2-(2’-hydroxyphenyl)-3H-quinazoline-4-ones were carried out and obtained its BF2 complexes. Coordination compounds characterized by the data of 1H, 19F, 11B NMR spectroscopy and mass spectrometry. The fluorescence of the complexes in acetonitrile solution was investigated and presented data on the effect of substituents in the phenol fragment on photophysical properties.
