Thermodynamic modeling of the phase formation in Inconel 625 nickel alloy with varing boron and carbon contents was carried out. The composition and volume fraction of equilibrium phases was determined. The presence of transition zones with a high copper content is shown on samples of bronze with hardfacing. A significant amount of hardening phases, such as borides, carbides and carboborides of chromium, molybdenum and niobium are determined the high hardness and wear resistance of coatings. The effect of boron carbide content in electrode coating on the gladding hardness is shown.
