The paper presents the results of developing the composition and production technology together with the analysis of properties of a new chromium-nickel alloy with ultra-low carbon content (less than 0,006 pct) destined for service at the temperature range from 600 to 650 °C in boiling solutions of chlorous acids. The new alloy, in comparison with import alloys now in use, possesses the high level of mechanical characteristics and also the increased resistance to intercrystalline corrosion.
