Intensification of composition homogenization of technological solutions in the receipt tanks for nitric acid uranium solutions via additional axial mechanical mixing is considered. A two-level mechanical axial mixer has been designed. The main characteristics of the designed mixer have been defined. It has been determined that the use of the two-level mechanical axial mixer results in elimination of stagnation zones in the tank due to formation of steady ascending and descending mesoscale flows. It is shown that additional mechanical mixing allows reducing the duration of homogenization of the technological solutions composition by 10 hours and more with significant mixing quality improvement
