The main pledge of the successful processing of discontinuous surfaces is the application of knowledge and recommendations on the selection of cutting tools, carbide and cutting modes. Producers; and reference literature on engineering recommend simply reduce the cutting speed and impose correction factor 0,85 - 0,75, thereby reducing the processing performance. Therefore, research in the field of increasing the durability of the cutting tool are relevant and are of considerable interest for the industrial enterprises.
