The article examines the methods of analyzing the data of technical diagnostics of power equipment and attempts to adapt the methods of artificial neural nets for such an analysis. It analyzes and uncovers the prerequisites and causes of applying the methods of artificial neural nets for analyzing the data of technical diagnostics of power equipment in the existing conditions of incompleteness and low reliability of source information.
