The possibility of applying the standard calculation of the torque transmitted by a magnetic coupling with high-coercivity permanent samarium-cobalt magnets with a magnet width less than its thickness by more than 2 times is considered. Correction coefficients are obtained for the torque transmitted by a magnetic coupling with a magnet width less than its thickness, depending on the air gap between the magnets, which allow, at the stage of development of sealed equipment, to calculate the torque transmitted by a magnetic coupling with permanent magnets when using magnets with dimensions of 2,57 х 30 х 8 mm and air gap between half-couplings of 1÷4 mm.
