For the development of any relationship between countries, knowledge of a foreign language is required. Sometimes not all specialists working in international companies, joint ventures, foreign representative offices speak English, not to mention the language of the country they cooperate with. Therefore, each organization employs professional translators and interpreters who clearly know their job and understand the essence of any work problem. One of the most difficult areas in translating is the translation of technical documentation containing narrow-profile terms. Translators in this field must not only know the profile vocabulary, but also translate the source document as accurately as possible, be able to decipher acronyms and abbreviations, monitor the emergence of new terms in this area, use terminology that carries the main informational and semantic load in the context of the translated technical document. At negotiations, conferences and business meetings the knowledge of both narrow-profile terms and the rules of ethics of business communication is required for the interpreter. Sometimes, when translating technical texts, the translator is faced with the problem the impossibility or difficulty of finding this technical term in the dictionary. In such a situation, he has to explain the meaning of this term clearly in his own words within the context. Recently, the cooperation in the scientific and technical sphere between Russia and China has been actively developing. A large role in these projects is assigned to translators who use electronic dictionaries, information technologies, and special programs in their work. Translation Memory is one such technology.
