In this article, a new algorithm of shaping and routing has been developed for computeraided design of control programs of sheet cutting equipment with Numerical control when shaping sheet material with round parts. The algorithm is based on the technique of cutting round parts using continuous shearing of several contours and combining parts into groups. Unlike the standard contour shearing technique, which is mainly used in modern CAD preparation of control programs, the proposed technique minimizes the values of the main cutting parameters, and, consequently, the cost of the cutting process. The description of the algorithm is given, two stages are highlighted. At the first stage, the material is automatically shaped with round parts (at the output, a shaping map in dxf format), at the second stage, a route with a minimum Number of insertion points and idle tool movements is automatically calculated (at the output, a file with a G-code). Software implementation of the algorithm has been performed. The results of test calculations of the cost of cutting are presented, confirming the correctness of the proposed solutions.
