Purpose: study of the ways of semantic manifestation of category of indefinite quantity in Russian and English languages on syntactic level. Methodology. The method of comparative analysis of languages is taken as the main one; linguistic description is based on the general scientific methods of induction, deduction, analysis, synthesis, classification; definition analysis if used for semantic interpretation. Results: on the basis of the analysis of the language material from Russian and English national corpora the way of semantic manifestation of indefinite quantity category through syntactical units with repetition has been described for both languages. Practical implications: cognitive linguistics research, system of higher education.
