The joint thermal carbon reduction of the zinc and iron oxides in the pellets from the mixture of the blast furnace sludge and steelmaking dust has been investigated. And the optimal parameters of the reduction process have been determined. The results of the bench tests have been presented. The results have made it possible to determine the parameters of the production process for processing the zinc-containing dusts from the metallurgical production and to ground the plant selection for this purpose.
