The numerical estimation of possible errors in the measurement of average absorbed dose by skin and eye cumulative dosimeters with different thicknesses of the active and protective layers was carried out using Varskin 3.0 program. It was found that full thickness equivalence of the active and protective layers of dosimeter on the one hand, and skin (eye lens) on the other, allows more accurate measurement of the dose absorbed in skin and eye lens independently of incident ß-radiation energy and spatial distribution.
