The article describes the results of the study regarding the hardiness of adolescents with speech disorders (SD) in comparison with the data related to the adolescents with normative development. To reveal the expanded psychological content of hardiness of participants, additional psychological characteristics, such as self-esteem and claims, extraversion-neuroticism, methods of coping behaviour are examined. According to the results of the study, the initial hypothesis was proved, according to which the average value of components of hardiness of adolescents with SD is similar to that of adolescents with normative speech development (NSD). The hypothesis on the existence of links between the hardiness of adolescents with THD and methods of coping behaviour, scales of self-esteem and claims, extraversion and neuroticism was also confirmed.
