The review considers the use of hydrochemical methods CBD (chemical bath deposition) and SILAR (successive ionic layer adsorption and reaction) for the deposition of thin-film structures, including the use of quantum dots of AIIBVI and AIVBVI compounds sulfides and selenides, cadmium lead and zinc. The material is focused on the application of these methods and materials for the production of photovoltaic converters (FC) of solar energy. Layers of PbS and CdS are often used together to obtain heterostructures. For this reason, the job descriptions for these materials are merged. Works related to PbSe, CdSe and ZnS layers are described separately for each material. The tables show the most common parameters for characterizing the FP: short-circuit current Isc, open-circuit voltage Voc, coefficient of performance (COP), fill factor FF (fill factor). In this regard, in the study of literature data, special attention is paid to identifying factors that affect the effectiveness of EP. Particular attention in the article is paid to changes in the characteristics of solar cells under the influence of the temperature of processing the structure and the temperature of chemical synthesis. The electrical and structural features of materials that change under the influence of the composition of the reaction medium are considered. A description is given of the synthesis procedures for those variants of structures that showed the best efficiency in the corresponding work. Special attention is paid to the description of the synthesis conditions, options for the arrangement of photoactive layers, the design of current-collecting contacts, etc.
