"The temperature effed; on the cardiac ryanodine receptor fundion has been studied within the e1ectron-conformationa1 model. It is shown that simple e1ectron-conformationa1 model with the Arrhenius like temperature dependence of “internal” and “externa1” fictions and spetifi; “thermosensitivity” of the tunnelling “open о dose” transitions can provide both qualitative and quantitative desaiption of the temperature effeds for isolated ryanodine receptors. The potential of the model was illustrated by exp1aining the experimenta1 data on the temperature dependence of sheep’s isolated cardiac ryanodine receptor gating and conductance (R. Sitsapesan et al., J. Physiol. (1991), 434, 469)."
